In contrast to the crowded race for the Orange Cap, the battle for the Purple Cap is much more settled. Royal Challengers Bengaluru's veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has maintained a firm grip on the top position for a considerable duration. Bhuvneshwar has managed to take 24 wickets in 13 matches, providing him with a comfortable lead over his rivals.
