The first phase of voting for the seven-phase assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh will be held on February 10. But the surprising thing is that till now the ruling party and the opposition have not informed the people of the state through their manifesto and manifesto, on which issues and with what vision they will remain in the government for the next five years. Political experts consider this delay as the negligence of political parties. He says that this attitude is not considered favorable for democracy. He says that the public should know about the promises like Sankalp Patra or Manifesto to be told honestly months before voting. in order to vote on that basis. However, announcements of political parties have been made from different forums even before the release of their manifesto and Sankalp Patra.

BJP was to release manifesto on Sunday

In Uttar Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Samajwadi Party have not yet placed their Sankalp Patra and Manifesto among the public. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has been continuously saying that until the BJP does not issue its Sankalp Patra, the Samajwadi Party will also not release its manifesto. The Bharatiya Janata Party was supposed to release its Sankalp Patra on Sunday but it could not be issued. This is the reason that the Samajwadi Party has not yet released its manifesto. Although the Samajwadi Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party have told from different forums what they are going to do for the public in the coming five years, but as a whole they have not yet given information about it. Political analysts believe that this should not happen.

This delay is not in the interest of the public

Professor Rashid Hassan, political expert and former convener of the Center for Local Political Studies, says that this attitude is not at least in the public interest for any political party. He says that if a political party prepares its agenda first, then what is the point in placing it in front of the public. If the public is to be sincerely urged to vote keeping in mind the vision of the political parties, then the political parties should timely give full details of the work to be done for the public in the next five years. So that the voter can assess which political party's plans are beneficial for the state and vote on that basis.

Rashid Hasan says, in fact, things like manifesto in today's era look like mere khamanpurti. They say that if a manifesto is released two days before the election, then people will not go to vote for political parties after reading it and then understanding it. He says that however, most of the things in the manifestos of political parties reach the public in advance through public meetings of leaders and through social media. Still, even if the manifesto is the same as the ritual payment, it should be completed on time.

Election on caste equations

Political expert GD Shukla says that the election is actually on the basis of caste equations. If you go to any assembly constituency of a state and see, you will find that the issues of development are far behind and political discussions are the most to solve caste equations. He says it is not that the manifesto doesn't matter. Sankalp Patra or Manifesto certainly means a lot not only for the people but also for the political party which is going to form the government by winning the votes of the people. Shukla also says that delay in manifesto or resolution letters does not mean that political parties do not have a roadmap for the next five years. Yes, it is a different matter that he is not able to give it in a public forum as a whole on time for political reasons or for other reasons. Which in reality is not an honest attitude of the political parties.

Conflict between SP and BJP

In the assembly elections of Uttar Pradesh, this time there has been a conflict between the Samajwadi Party and the BJP not only on the manifesto, but also the mutual conflict between the two political parties has been shown to field candidates. In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the candidates of Samajwadi Party and Bharatiya Janata Party were also fielded a few days before the last date of nomination. In that too, the Bharatiya Janata Party fielded its candidates last. Political experts believe that till the last moment the Samajwadi Party waited for the candidates of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Lucknow. After much delay, the Samajwadi Party had released its candidate list before the candidates of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
