You have to travel in time. In such a situation, two coaching staff will also be required. In such a situation, VVS Laxman, the head of the National Cricket Academy (NCA), can get an important responsibility.

Team India has to play a Test match with England, which is the scheduled Test of the previous series. Team India has to play a two-match T20 series against Ireland just before the remaining Test match of last year's series. In such a situation, the same team and the coaching staff of the team cannot stay in two places. In such a situation, the board will send a team decorated with youth on a tour of Ireland, where VVS Laxman can be the director of the team. Rahul Dravid is currently the head coach of Team India, who will continue with the team led by Rohit Sharma.

India's tour of Ireland begins on June 26, while India are scheduled to play the fifth and final Test against England at Edgbaston in Birmingham on July 1. VVS Laxman is currently the Director of Cricket at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. BCCI sources told ANI, "Yes it is possible that two teams can travel and with the team that will go to Ireland, there is a possibility that VVS Laxman will be given the position of team director instead of coaching and some officials will do the same. We are in touch with Lakshmana."
