For the last two years, Coronavirus and its different variants have plagued people all over the world. Meanwhile, once again in China, South Korea and European countries, the cases of Kovid-19 have started increasing once again. These cases of corona have increased due to Omicron's sub-variant BA2, which has increased the possibility of a fourth wave of corona. However, Indian experts are not worried about the fourth wave. You must know the reason for this.

Can the fourth wave of corona come to India?

In a conversation with The Times of India, expert Subhash Salunkhe said that in the third wave that came between December 2021 and February 2022, the immunity of most of the people of India has become very strong. The rate of vaccination is also fast in many states of India, so there is nothing to worry much. However, we do not have to be careless because the fourth wave can also come in India as is happening in many countries of the world. The only thing unknown about the fourth wave is when exactly will it come and how severe will it be?

Corona has had more than 50 mutations

Know that there have been more than 50 mutations of the corona virus so far. People's concern about the Omicron variant of Corona increased when the first case of Omicron was reported in South Africa in November 2021. Soon it became clear that the new variant of Corona spreads more rapidly.

This city had become Omicron's hotspot

Mumbai had become Omicron's hotspot in India. Here on January 7, 20 thousand 971 cases of Omicron were reported in a single day. Dr Shashank Joshi, a member of Maharashtra's task force against Kovid, said that due to genome sequencing, we came to know at the beginning of the third wave that both the sub-variants BA1 and BA2 of Omicron were increasing cases.

He said that there is no danger of another wave of Kovid in India at the moment because BA2 has lived in India. However, we should not stop wearing masks now. Kovid rules have to be continued to be followed.
