The country's longest sea bridge will start from Sewri on National Highway 4B and will have interchanges at Shivaji Nagar, Jassi and Chirle. This bridge will also be connected to Mumbai Pune Expressway in the coming days. 5.5 km part of this bridge is on the ground. Mumbai Trans Harbor Link Bridge has 6 lanes, out of which 3 lanes will be for coming and 3 lanes for going. Vehicles will be able to run at a speed of 100 km per hour on this bridge. Also, more than 70 thousand vehicles will be able to pass through it every day. The total cost of this bridge is Rs 17,843 crore and cameras equipped with artificial intelligence have been installed for monitoring it, which will help in providing information and controlling the vehicles.
