New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given many political messages by expanding and reshuffling the cabinet. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a clear indication of making the ministers accountable and improving the functioning of the central government by making a major reshuffle in the Union Cabinet. The way 12 ministers including six cabinet ministers have been removed and seven ministers of state have been promoted and made cabinet ministers. There is a clear message behind it that there are many opportunities for those who do good work, but if the performance is not up to the mark, then they cannot remain in the cabinet for long.

According to political experts, there could be several reasons behind this reshuffle. If things had been normal, a reshuffle would have happened long ago. Now it is happening after two full years, so naturally the reshuffle had to be big. In this reshuffle, the results of the West Bengal elections, the image of the government affected by the Corona epidemic and the upcoming elections in other states including Uttar Pradesh have also had a great impact.

Comparing the work of the previous government led by Modi and this government, the message was constantly being sent out that the central government was not working as before. The challenge seemed to be growing because of the lax attitude of several ministries. It was also being said that the works which are being done in the center are not reaching the public in the way they should have been. Apart from local issues, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been in favor of making development plans of the central government as a major base in the state elections.
