Dev Uthani Ekadashi 2022: This year Dev Uthani Ekadashi will be celebrated on November 4, 2022. It is also known as Prabodhini Ekadashi, Devutthan Ekadashi or Devotthan Ekadashi. Devuthani Ekadashi is celebrated every year on the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month. From this day every auspicious work like marriage and other auspicious programs starts. According to religious beliefs, on the day of Devuthani Ekadashi, Lord Vishnu wakes up from four months of yoga sleep. It is believed that on the Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Ashadha month, Lord Vishnu sleeps for four months and then wakes up on Kartik Shukla Ekadashi. This period of four months is called Chaturmas.
