Xiaomi has already launched the Redmi Note 7 in its home market and the company is now gearing up to host a global launch of the phone very soon. Xiaomi has already started teasing the Redmi Note 7 global launch. Alongside the Redmi Note 7, Xiaomi is also expected to soon launch the Pro version, the Redmi Note 7 Pro. Redmi Note 7 has been launched for a starting price of 999 Yuan.

Initially Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 in three variants -- 3GB RAM/32GB of internal storage, 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage, and 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. New reports now suggest a fifth variant for the Redmi Note 7 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Most definitely, the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model of Note 7 will be expensive when compared to other models. The storage space can be expanded further up to 256GB via microSD card.

As for the pricing details, the base model of the Redmi Note 7 with 3GB RAM/32GB of internal storage sells for 999 yuan (roughly around Rs 10,500), the second model comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage and retails for 1199 yuan which roughly translates to around Rs 12,400. Lastly, the top-end model of the Redmi Note 7 comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage which has been priced at 1399 yuan which when roughly translated comes to Rs 14,500.

As far as the specs of the phone are concerned Xiaomi is leaving no stone unturned to make the Redmi Note 7 a special phone. The Redmi Note 7 packs a 6.3-inch full-HD+ LTPS display with screen resolution of 1080x2340 pixels and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Interestingly, even if the device is so aggressively priced, the display of the Redmi Note 7 is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 which makes it durable.

On the hardware front, the Redmi Note 7 is powered by 2.2GHz Snapdragon 660 octa-core SoC coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. As for the camera, on the rear panel, the Redmi Note 7 includes a primary camera of 48MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture, while the secondary camera comes with a 5MP sensor for capturing depth shots. On the front, the Redmi Note 7 includes a 13-megapixel camera and comes bundled with features like AI face unlock, AI smart beauty, AI single shot blur, among others. The Note 7 packs a 4,000mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 4.
