PM Modi News: Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to a delegation of students from Jammu and Kashmir at his residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg this morning. On this occasion, about 250 students from all the districts of Jammu and Kashmir participated in freewheeling and informal interactions. Let us tell you that these students are visiting Jaipur, Ajmer and New Delhi under the 'Know the Country - Youth Exchange Program 2023' of the Government of India. Under the spirit of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat, the visit aims to showcase the cultural and social diversity of the country to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.

PM Modi learned about the travel experience of students

During the conversation, PM Modi asked the students about their travel experiences and the iconic places they visited. PM discussed the rich sports culture in Jammu and Kashmir. Also inquired about the students about their participation in sports like cricket, football etc. The Prime Minister cited the example of young archer Sheetal Devi from Jammu and Kashmir, who won three medals at the Asian Para Games Hangzhou. The Prime Minister also appreciated the talent of the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that they have the potential to achieve excellence in any field.

Mentioned about the world's highest railway bridge

PM Modi advised students to work, contribute towards the development of the country and help realize the dream of a developed India @2047. Along with this, while talking about the construction of the world's highest railway bridge in Jammu and Kashmir, PM Modi said that this will improve connectivity in the region. At the same time, PM Modi also discussed the success of Chandrayaan-3 and Aditya-L1 missions. He said that these scientific achievements have made every Indian proud.

Immense tourism potential in Jammu and Kashmir

Referring to the record number of tourists coming to Jammu and Kashmir this year, the Prime Minister said that there is immense potential in the tourism sector in Jammu and Kashmir. Along with this, PM Modi also talked about the benefits of yoga. He called upon the students to practice it daily. He also discussed the successful holding of the G20 summit in Kashmir and efforts to clean the country.
