Indore News: The death toll in Beleshwar Mahadev Jhulelal temple collapse has increased to 35 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Indore Collector Dr. Ilaiyaraaja T gave this information. He told that 18 people have been admitted to the hospital, out of which two people have been discharged. The district official said that 35 people have lost their lives, while one person is still missing. Teams of Army, NDRF and SDRF are carrying out search and rescue operations.

10 to 15 feet of water in Bawdi

Let us inform that after the rescue operation of NDRF, SDRF, district administration, which has been going on for 12 hours, now the Indian Army has also entered. Indian Army contingent from Mhow Cantt area of Indore has taken over the rescue operation. The accident happened due to the collapse of the roof of the old stepwell. 10 to 15 feet of water is being told in the stepwell which is more than 40 feet deep. Having trouble getting the water out. That is why the help of the army is also being sought.

Silt and poisonous water inside the stepwell

The water inside the stepwell, which has been closed for 25 years, is said to be like silt and poisonous. The army is having difficulty in sending the lift-like structure down. The net and bars made to cover the stepwell have broken down and are stuck below, which are blocking the structure. 10-10 horse power motors have been brought to extract water.

Havan was going on in the temple on Ram Navami

Please inform that Havan was going on in the temple in Patel Nagar near Sneh Nagar on Ram Navami. Here people were sitting on the terrace of the stepwell. Meanwhile the roof caved in. The temple is said to be about 60 years old. The stepwell is also being told of this time. Eyewitnesses told that many people were performing Havan on the terrace built above the stepwell. People fell down due to being overweight.
