New Delhi. A farmer was strangled to death on the Tiki border. According to the information, the dead body of the farmer was found on the raw road near the new bus stand on Bahadurgarh bypass. The deceased farmer has been identified as Hakam Singh and was a resident of Bhatinda district of Punjab. The police reached the scene as soon as the incident was reported and after examining the body, the body has been sent to the civil hospital for post-mortem. The cause of the murder and the accused have not been identified yet. However, the police have registered a case of murder against the unknown and started investigation.

At the same time, a farmer from Haryana committed suicide a few days ago on the Tikari border. The farmer was identified as Rajbir. According to police, the farmer who committed suicide was a resident of Hisar district and his body was found hanging from a tree near the spot. It was said that Rajbir had been opposing the agricultural laws from the very beginning and was associated with the movement for a long time.

On the same Monday, a woman farmer of Punjab was killed on the ticker border on Monday. 65-year-old Balbir Kaur died due to heart attack. He suddenly complained of nocturnal discomfort and chest pain. He was then brought to the Civil Hospital in Bahadurgarh but by then he had died. Balbir Kaur is the first female agitator to lose her life during the movement.
