Earlier, the state Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called a review meeting in view of the Covid situation.

According to The Indian Express report, District Collector M Hari Narayan informed that 11 patients undergoing oxygen support treatment have died. He informed that about one thousand Kovid patients are being treated in hospitals in Tirupati, Chittoor, Nellore and Kadapa. So far, more than 1.3 million cases of corona virus infection have been reported in Andhra Pradesh.

According to the report, officials have informed that oxygen pressure started falling after 8:30 pm. Before the supply could be resumed, the patients died a few minutes later. Due to this, angry family Kovid entered the ICU. In the meantime, he has overturned several levels and damaged the equipment. Officials said that the nurses and doctors present in the ICU fled immediately for their safety and returned only after the police arrived.

According to the news agency language, Telangana Police is intercepting ambulances of patients coming from neighboring Andhra Pradesh in the border areas of the state. This step has been taken to avoid the queue of patients waiting for beds near hospitals. Police officials said that only the patients who have been confirmed to be given beds are being allowed to come into the state from the border.

A senior police officer from Telangana's Seemai district told PTI, "We are seeing that a lot of patients are coming from other states in the hope of better treatment." However, patients who have not been confirmed to get beds in any hospital are not being allowed to come. People not getting beds keep waiting outside the hospitals. ”Police sources said that 500 to 600 ambulances arrive every day from the border entry point in Telangana to be admitted to various hospitals.

A police officer from Seemai district adjoining Andhra Pradesh said that no written order has been received from the Telangana government to stop the ambulance but it has been stated in oral instructions and the ban will remain in force for the next few days. A senior official of the Telangana government recently said that more than 50 percent of the beds in hospitals in Hyderabad are patients from neighboring states.
