Nellore Stampede : A stampede broke out during the roadshow of TDP chief and former Andhra Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu at Kandukur in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh today. In which more than 7 people died and many people were also injured. The former Chief Minister was visiting the district as part of the party's campaign and during this time thousands of supporters had gathered to welcome him. After the incident, Chandrababu Naidu left the roadshow midway and went to the hospital. Where the injured have been admitted. He announced financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the families of those who lost their lives in the accident.
