Delhi: A major accident was averted in Secunderabad, Telangana amid the ongoing violence over the Centre's Agneepath scheme. An angry mob torched several trains and damaged public property in Telangana in protest against the new military recruitment policy i.e. 'Agneepath Scheme'. During this, one person died and more than 15 were injured in the violence.
5,000 agitators entered the railway stationThe case of biggest violence in the state came to light from Secunderabad. At least 5,000 agitators allegedly barged into a railway station in Secunderabad and tried to set fire to the compartment of a passenger train that was carrying around 40 people. Some children were also among these passengers. However, the understanding of the railway employees saved the lives of these passengers. He helped these passengers to get out of that compartment and move them to the next compartment.AC power car mechanic Suman Kumar Sharma told NDTV that there were at least 40 passengers inside the A1 coach.
