Left students (Left) and students of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) clashed on the campus on Sunday. According to the information, Ram Navami was being worshiped by the former students in the Kaveri hostel of JNU. At the same time, the student organizations associated with the Left ideology did not want to allow worship. However, the puja went on peacefully. At the same time, for not being able to stop the worship, the Left student organizations raised the issue of stopping non-veg food. It is being told that the menu of Kaveri Hostel includes both non veg and veg. ABVP activists were stopping the preparation and eating of non-veg food on Sunday. Meanwhile, a scuffle broke out between ABVP activists and left wing students, in which some people were injured.

What is the charge of left students

Left students said that ABVP activists have created a violent atmosphere in Kaveri Hostel over their politics of hate and divisive agenda. They are forcing the mess committee to change the dinner menu and attack the left wing students along with those associated with the mess. The menu has both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Students can take any food of their choice, but ABVP workers created a ruckus. They also assaulted the employees of the mess as well.

In this matter, ABVP said that today on the occasion of Ram Navami, a program of worship and havan was kept. In which a large number of JNU students had come. There the students of the Left came and tried to stop the Puja and disrupted it. Apart from this, he tried to create unnecessary ruckus regarding the right to food. The Left is trying to create inequality and caste cleansing between Muslims and Hindus, who are celebrating their respective festivals in peace.
