India vs Canada: Amid threats from Khalistani supporters, the Ministry of External Affairs has issued an advisory for those traveling to Canada. It said that in view of the increasing anti-India activities, hate crimes and criminal violence in Canada, all Indian citizens present there and those considering traveling are urged to exercise extreme caution. Before this, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday and informed him about the entire situation.

The advisory issued said that recent threats have specifically targeted Indian diplomats and sections of Indians opposing the anti-India agenda, therefore Indian citizens are advised to avoid those areas of Canada and potentially Avoid traveling to places where such incidents have been witnessed.

Meanwhile, Khalistani organizations have threatened to attack the Indian High Commission and its other offices in Canada on September 25. Due to this, Justin Trudeau's problems seem to be increasing further. This is being considered as the litmus test for Justin Trudeau. If there is negligence on the part of Canada in the security of the Indian High Commission, then major action can be seen from the Indian side.

Foreign Minister held a meeting with PM Modi

Following Trudeau's comments, India and Canada have expelled one senior diplomat each. The meeting between the External Affairs Minister and PM Narendra Modi on the second day of this expulsion is very important politically.

Let us tell you that 45-year-old Nijjar was an Indian terrorist and the chief of the banned Khalistan Tiger Force. On June 18, he was murdered outside a Gurudwara in Surrey, British Columbia. He was one of India's most wanted terrorists, with a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh.

Amid rising tensions between the two countries, Trudeau on Tuesday assured that he is not thinking of “provoking” India. He had said that his government has “credible allegations” that Indian government agents were involved in the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar on Canadian soil in June.

Congress MP demanded intervention

Meanwhile, Congress MP Ravneet Singh Bittu wrote a letter to PM Modi and the Foreign Minister regarding the stand of the Canadian government and sought their intervention in the matter. It was written in the letter that due to the diplomatic tension between the two countries, there is a feeling of insecurity in the minds of Indian students who went to study in Canada and their families in the country.

About 6 lakh Indian students are studying in Canada. He demanded that there should be no shortcomings regarding his studies, visa, PR and security. This should be ensured by the government.
