PV Sindhu: The past time has not been much special for India's star badminton player PV Sindhu. Sindhu has consistently failed to win big tournaments and this has had a direct impact on her ranking as well. Sindhu has suffered a major setback in her career ranking.

Big blow to Sindhu in ranking

Two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu has slipped three places to be 15th in the latest BWF rankings. Sindhu, who dropped out of the top-10 in April this year, has 51070 points from 13 tournaments. She will take part in the Canadian Open Super 500 tournament this week. Sindhu was away from the court for five months due to a fracture in her ankle during the Commonwealth Games last year. She reached the final of the Madrid Spain Masters Super 300 and the semi-finals of the Malaysia Masters Super 500 this season.

Satvik-light of the lamp

Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty are third in the doubles rankings. In men's singles, HS Prannoy is ranked eighth while Lakshya Sen is ranked 19th and Kidambi Srikanth is ranked 20th. In women's doubles, Trisa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand dropped one place to be at 17th position. MR Arjun and Dhruv Kapila are ranked 26th in men's doubles while Rohan Kapoor and N Sikki Reddy are ranked 33rd in mixed doubles.
