After Amritsar, now in Murshidabad, West Bengal, a BSF jawan shot dead a colleague and then shot himself.

The incident took place in the early hours of the BSF's Jalangi camp located near the India-Bangladesh international border, an official said. According to officials, the two were summoned by the local police, following which they clashed.

Indiscriminate firing by jawan in Amritsar on Sunday, four killed

Let us inform that on Sunday, five BSF personnel were killed in Amritsar. A BSF jawan, troubled by the time period of duty, opened fire indiscriminately on his comrades in the camp on Sunday. Four jawans were killed and another was injured in this. Constable Satippa SK, the accused who fired in this accident, has also died. The incident took place on Sunday morning between 9.30 am and 9.45 am at the campus of 144 Battalion located in Khasa area. The campus is located about 12-13 kms from the Attari-Wagah border. Officials say that the accused was probably worried about his duty hours. Not only this, he also fired at the commanding officer's car parked in the campus.
