ATF / Aircraft fuel costlier by Rs 227.5, for the eighth time in a row, the price has increased one and a half times since January

Oil companies on Saturday increased by Rs 227.5 per kiloliter on aircraft fuel i.e. Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF). ATF accounts for 40 percent of the expenditure on the operation of aircraft.

Since January till now, the price of ATF has increased one and a half times. This time it has increased by 0.20 percent and in Delhi it has become Rs 1,13,202.33 per kiloliter. After increasing the petrol and diesel by about Rs 10 per liter, the oil companies have stopped the new increase for the last 10 days.

At the same time, this is the 8th consecutive fortnightly increase on ATF. While the prices of petrol and diesel can be fixed daily, the rates of ATF can change only once in every 15 days i.e. on 1st and 16th of the month.

  • Prices were increased by 18.3 percent on March 16
  • 2258.54 on April 1 and Rs 17,135.63 on March 16.
  • 1,11,981.99 in Mumbai, Rs 1,17,753.60 in Kolkata and Rs 1,16,933.49 in Chennai.
