Women decider

Women play a decisive role in the elections to be held in Punjab. A total of 2.12 crore voters will vote this time. Of these 10086514 are women voters. In the 2017 assembly elections, 78.14 per cent women had cast their vote, which was 1.45 per cent more than men. This time also the political parties are predicting that women will cast more votes in the elections.

Women forced to practice

In view of the decisive role of women in Punjab, the cultivation of mother power in this election is nothing less than a compulsion. This is the reason that all the political parties are engaged in making direct announcements about women. If the Aam Aadmi Party forms the government, the SAD has announced to give Rs 1000 per month and Rs 2500 per month. At the same time, Congress President Sidhu has promised women to get domestic gas cylinders filled and 12th pass girls to get scooty.
