Lok Sabha Elections: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had reached his home district Kalaburagi on Wednesday. Where, he tried to connect with people emotionally. The Congress President appealed to the people that even if they do not want to vote in favor of the party candidate in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, if they feel that he (Kharge) has worked for them then at least vote in his funeral. Come.

According to PTI report, at an election rally in Afzalpur in Karnataka's Kalaburagi district, Kharge further said that if they (people) did not vote for the Congress candidate, they would feel that there is no place for them in Kalaburagi now. Kharge's son-in-law Radha Krishna Dodamani is contesting from Kalaburagi Lok Sabha seat on Congress ticket. At the same time, BJP has again fielded sitting MP Umesh Jadhav from there.

…Then I will think there is no place for me here

Addressing the public meeting, Kharge said that if you miss your vote this time (for the Congress candidate), then I will think that there is no place for me here and I could not win your heart. The Congress leader had won elections from this seat in 2009 and 2014 but had to face defeat in 2019.

Kharge said- I will remain in politics till my last breath

After this, the Congress President told the people that whether you vote for us or not, but if you think that I have worked for Kalaburagi, then at least come to my funeral. He said that he will remain in politics till his last breath to defeat the ideology of BJP and RSS. I was born for politics. Whether I contest elections or not, I will strive till my last breath to save the Constitution and democracy of this country.

‘One should not retire on principles’

Kharge said that I will not retire from politics. Retirement happens from position, but one should not retire from one's principles. The Congress leader said that I was born to defeat the ideology of BJP and RSS and not to surrender before them.
