High Security Banda Jail. Four levels of tight security cordon. Till now the criminals used to tremble at the name of being closed here. But now the officers are getting scared in the name of handling the work of this jail. The jail has been without a superintendent since October. The superintendent in charge is running the jail. Whoever was sent as superintendent, became ill. One such officer was suspended by the government. Whatever the government transfer, suspension, officers are not ready to deploy here. It is believed that no superintendent is ready to work here since the arrest of Mafia MLA Mukhtar Ansari in Banda Jail.

Mukhtar came on April 7, jail in discussion since then

Mukhtar Ansari was admitted to the Banda Divisional Jail on the morning of April 7 last year. At that time the jailer Pramod Tripathi was the in-charge jail superintendent here. In May, Senior Jail Superintendent AK Singh was sent from Unnao to Banda. He somehow spent four months and then took medical leave. And didn't even return. He was attached to Sampurnanand Prison Training Institute, Lucknow. On November 12, the flamboyant Superintendent Vijay Vikram Singh was transferred from Bareilly Jail to Banda Divisional Jail. He didn't take charge. He was finally suspended on 30 November. Now he is also attached to the Prison Training Institute.

It is believed that because of Mukhtar Ansari, no officer wants to stay in this jail. His close friends Munna Bajrangi in Baghpat and Wasim Kala and Merajuddin in Chitrakoot have been murdered in a gang war. In those cases, the officers and jail staff got caught in the JD of action. Because of the threat to the security of the Mukhtar and the involvement of the Mukhtar himself in the crime, the officers feel a two-pronged threat.

The thief opened the prison pole

On the evening of June 6, a prisoner went missing from the jail. On June 7, there was a report on two security personnel. At four o'clock that same evening, the prisoner was shown dramatically recovered inside the jail. The accused of theft exposed the security of the High Security Jail by remaining missing for 24 hours.
