MP News: A horrific road accident happened on National Highway-30 near Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. In this 15 people have died. 40 people have been injured. Police reached the spot on the information of passers-by and admitted the injured to the hospital. Twelve people died on the spot, while two community health centers, Toonthar and one person died at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, Rewa. Eight people remain in critical condition. According to the information, the UP passing bus was going from Hyderabad to Gorakhpur on Friday. Then at around 11.30 pm, the bus collided with the trolley. Preliminary information has revealed that the trailer running ahead suddenly applied brakes, due to which it entered directly into the trolley running behind. All the workers were in the bus, who were going to their homes to celebrate Diwali. Around 40 people are reported to have been injured in the accident. At the same time, 15 people lost their lives. After the accident, some people were trapped in the cabin, who were rescued after a lot of effort.

Rewa Police Superintendent Navneet Bhasin has said that 15 people have died. All the people are being told from Uttar Pradesh. The bus was going from Hyderabad to Gorakhpur. The accident happened near Suhagi hill in Rewa. Of the 40 injured, 20 have been admitted to a hospital in Prayagraj. The CMO of the area has told that the injured passengers have been sent to Prayagraj in two buses at night after getting treatment. Seriously injured passengers are being treated free of cost at Rewa Medical College, MP. Rewa district administration is ensuring all necessary arrangements.

More than 80 passengers were on the bus

It is being told that there were more than 80 passengers in the bus. In fact, as soon as the bus reached near the Sohagi mountain, the truck going ahead of the bus collided with an unknown vehicle. During this, the bus, being uncontrolled, collided with the back of the truck and overturned. The driver of the vehicle that collided with the truck is missing from the spot with the vehicle. Since the incident, the police is investigating the entire incident.

Rewa Collector Manoj Pushp said that the front part of the bus suffered more damage. It entered the trailer due to high speed. Due to this, the passengers sitting in the cabin and front seat of the bus have died. 40 injured passengers have been sent to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital (Rewa). Some were taken to Tyonthar Hospital.

SP Navneet Bhasin said, 'The front part of the trailer has also been damaged. In such a situation, there is a possibility that the trailer also collided with the vehicle going ahead. The trailer driver must have applied the brakes suddenly, so the bus coming from behind entered the trailer. The driver and cleaner of the trailer have fled from the spot. However, the cause of the accident is not known. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has condoled the demise of those killed in the Rewa bus-trolley truck collision.

Those passengers who are seriously injured are being treated free of cost at Rewa Medical College. Rewa district administration is ensuring all necessary arrangements for the customs of the injured and the dead, including treatment.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has also expressed grief after the accident. He has said that the loss of life in a road accident in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh is very sad. Praying to Lord Shri Ram to give place to the departed souls at his feet and grant speedy recovery to the injured. Talks have been held with MP CM Shivrajji for proper treatment of the injured and to take the mortal remains of the deceased residents of Uttar Pradesh to the state. Two lakh each will be given to the next of kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 each to the seriously injured.
