Chittorgarh MP CP Joshi can contest elections from Jaipur this time. The way Joshi was seen keeping pace with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the assembly elections and BJP won the elections, it is believed that he is in the good books of PM Modi. Having a gentle image, not getting into any controversies and being dedicated to the Sangh are his remaining USPs.

This time, the party can field CP Joshi in place of Ramcharan Bohra, a leader belonging to the Brahmin community who has won elections from Jaipur seat for two consecutive times. Jaipur is considered a stronghold of BJP and the party is considering that this time too Brahmin faces should be given preference. It is believed that Joshi may be given the Jaipur ticket as a reward in view of BJP's excellent performance in the assembly elections. Poonia will contest elections from Jaipur Rural!

It is almost certain that former BJP state president Satish Poonia will contest elections from Jaipur Rural.
