Rajasthan News: Today, BJP organized a big protest in Jaipur against the state government. Along with the meeting at the state BJP office, the leaders and workers of the party marched to lay siege to the secretariat. Police chased away BJP workers at Statue Circle using water cannon. At the same time, several leaders including Deputy Leader of Opposition Satish Poonia clashed with the police. Some workers were injured in the scuffle with the police. State President CP Joshi, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore, Deputy Leader of Opposition Satish Poonia, MP Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, MP Sumedhanand and many big BJP leaders courted arrest in the demonstration.

Before the secretariat gherao, a meeting was organized outside the state BJP office. Here Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore said – each and every worker who came in today's demonstration will work to put the last nail in the coffin of the Gehlot government. At the same time, the people of Rajasthan will work to open the bandages tied on both the feet of CM Ashok Gehlot.

BJP claims that lakhs of people from all over the state came to Jaipur to participate in this gherao programme. PM Narendra Modi also supported BJP's 'Chalo Jaipur' slogan. Through this movement, BJP's 'Nahin Sahega Rajasthan' campaign came to an end.

Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said in the meeting organized before the gherao – When a tire gets nailed, then the tire is changed to drive the vehicle. In the same way, a nail has also pierced the feet of CM Ashok Gehlot. So now we need to change them.

After being taken into custody, Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore said that we are not afraid of being taken into custody. 'Gehlot has seen your jail-court and will see it.' Rathore said - We are not going to sit quietly.

PM Modi retweeted

Before the movement, Prime Minister Modi retweeted the tweet of BJP Rajasthan and wrote – Walk in the honor of daughters, walk in the upliftment of the poor, walk in the honor of Dalits, listen to the pain of the farmer, shout…

PM Modi further wrote – The way the present Congress rule has turned Rajasthan, the land of heroes and heroines, into a quagmire of misery and infamy. The public wants to get rid of him soon. The resolution taken by the people to uproot the misrule of the state is going to get a big boost from this campaign of the BJP.

Deputy Leader of Opposition Satish Poonia said – We were agitating for democratic demands, but the hallmark of the government is how it has resorted to repression. Water canon was fired, lathicharged. But, our fight will continue. We are fighting for the honor of the youth, farmers, unemployed and women of the state.

Former minister and MLA Vasudev Devnani said – The government is scared to see this crowd that came out on the streets against the misrule of the Gehlot government. The government is misusing the police. But, even after this arrest, we are not afraid. We will do more such agitations in the coming days.

JP Nadda started the campaign

In fact, on July 16, the 'Nahi Sahega Rajasthan' campaign was started by BJP national president JP Nadda from Bilwa in Jaipur. Under this campaign, BJP organized several programs across the state against the government on corruption, paper leak, loan waiver, atrocities on women and Dalits, law and order and other issues.
