Citizenship Amendment Act: The Central Government has implemented the Citizenship Amendment Act i.e. CAA across the country. In this regard, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had given statements several times that the CAA law will be implemented before the Lok Sabha elections. Meanwhile, Amit Shah has now spoken to news agency ANI. In his conversation he said that the CAA law will never be withdrawn. It is our sovereign right to ensure Indian citizenship in our country. We will never compromise on this. He also commented on Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on CAA notification.

Amit Shah lashed out at the opposition

Commenting on Mamata Banerjee, Shah said that the day is not far when BJP will come to power there (West Bengal) and stop infiltration. If you do this kind of politics and with such an important national security issue, you allow infiltration by doing appeasement politics then oppose it. If refugees do not get citizenship then people will not stay with you. He said that Mamata Banerjee does not know the difference between a refugee and an infiltrator. Regarding the opposition's question in an interview, he said that the opposition has no other work.

Attacking the opposition, he said that their history is that what they say is not what they do, Modi ji's history is that whatever BJP or PM Modi said is set in stone. Every guarantee of Modi is fulfilled. The opposition has no other work. He said that there was political gain in surgical strikes and air strikes, so should we not take action against terrorism? Amit Shah also said that removing Article 370 was also for our political benefit, we were saying since 1950 that we will remove Article 370. They have a history of not doing what they say.
