Morena / Camel came under Shatabdi engine, lives of passengers stuck due to train halt in the ravines of Chambal

A major accident was averted after a camel got stuck in the engine of Shatabdi Express in Morena district on Saturday. However, after one and a half hours after the engine failure of the train, it was sent forward by installing another engine.


According to the information, the incident took place near Hetampur railway station. Due to the sudden stop of the train in the forest, there was a stir among the passengers. When the passengers came to know about the camel getting stuck in the engine of the train, then their life came to life.


In fact, Shatabdi Express was leaving Delhi on Saturday morning as usual and was coming towards Gwalior. At around 8:50 am, the train was crossing Dholpur railway station and was moving towards Morena. On crossing the Chambal bridge, a camel suddenly appeared on the railway track before Hetampur. The camel was blown away after being hit by the train, but its bone got stuck in the engine of the train, due to which the train stopped on the spot. As soon as the news of the train's engine spread, Morena railway station, RPF and other technical staff reached the spot. The technical staff tried hard to repair the engine, but it did not start. During this, the train stood at the spot for about two hours. The officials sent the train forward at 10:45 am after getting the second engine.


Suddenly, the passengers came in panic as soon as the train stopped in the ravines of Chambal. Everyone was curious to know the reason behind the stoppage of the train. After a while, when the RPF staff reached the spot and came to know about the engine failure of the train, the passengers came to life. Passengers suffered a lot due to the train standing on the railway track for about two hours in the scorching sun.


At the same time, in this case, the RPF staff says that the shepherds from Rajasthan bring camels to Madhya Pradesh for grazing, two of them were left on the railway track. One of these camels was hit by Shatabdi Express on Saturday morning, due to which a major accident was averted.
