New Delhi: The central government has once again banned the doorstep delivery of ration scheme of the Kejriwal government. The Delhi government had planned to deliver ration to the homes of 72 lakh ration card holders of the capital. The trial of this scheme was earlier scheduled to start in Delhi from April 12, but it was stopped due to the increase in corona cases and then the lockdown.

After a week, this plan was to be implemented again and all the preparations had been made regarding this. This has been banned by the Center just before the start of the scheme. This is the second time that the door-to-door ration scheme has been banned.

It is being told that the Delhi government had not taken approval from the central government for this scheme, due to which the center has again banned it on Saturday.

It is worth noting that earlier on March 19 also, the central government had banned door step delivery of ration in Delhi. At that time this scheme was to start from March 25. The Central Government had written a letter to the Food Supplies Secretary of the Delhi Government asking not to start this scheme, while the Kejriwal government had also issued a tender for this scheme and it was to be launched from 25 March. After this move of the Center, 'AAP' had asked why the Modi government is against ending the ration mafia?

Let us inform that, after the Center objected to the name, the Delhi government had decided to start the door step delivery scheme of ration without name. The "Mukhya Mantri Ghar Ghar Ration Yojana" was earlier banned by the central government due to its name. The name of the scheme was dropped after this objection from the Centre.
