MP Assembly Election: There are assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh at the end of this year. Before that, the Madhya Pradesh Cabinet on Saturday announced the launch of 'Mukhyamantri Laadli Brahm Awas Yojana', doubling the monthly honorarium of guest teachers and implementing the 'Mob Lynching' Victims Compensation Scheme 2023 with the aim of providing houses to homeless eligible families of all sections. Many important decisions have been taken including leaving. According to the release of Madhya Pradesh Public Relations Department, these decisions were taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

The release said that 'Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Awas Yojana' will now be known as 'Mukhyamantri Ladli Brahm Awas Yojana' and this scheme will be valid for houseless eligible families of all categories. It has been said in it that in future, whenever the unit cost of housing construction under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Rural increases, then the unit cost under this scheme will also be increased.

Monthly honorarium of guest teachers doubled

According to the release, apart from this, the Cabinet has approved doubling the monthly honorarium of guest teachers. The honorarium of Class-1 has been increased from the present Rs 9,000 to Rs 18,000, the honorarium of Class-2 has been increased from Rs 7,000 to Rs 14,000 and the honorarium of Class-3 has been increased from Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000. It said that the Cabinet has also decided to implement Madhya Pradesh 'Mob Lynching' Victims Compensation Scheme 2023 for relief and rehabilitation of the victims of mob lynching and their dependents in the state.

Provision regarding the crime of mob lynching

According to the release, under this scheme, the crime of mob lynching is committed by a mob of five or more persons against any person or persons on the basis of religion, caste, sex, place of birth, language, food, sexual orientation, political affiliation, ethnicity or other such grounds. Or violence has been included on such grounds. It has been said in it that under the scheme, a provision has been made to give compensation amount to the victims in the case of mob lynching.

According to the release, the Cabinet has decided to increase the monthly honorarium of the kitchens engaged in the Pradhan Mantri Poshan Shakti Nirman Yojana run under the Panchayat and Rural Development Department from Rs 2,000 to Rs 4,000 per month. 2.10 lakh cooks will benefit from this. It has been said in it that the Cabinet has approved to make the currently payable time scale/selection pay scale more attractive and beneficial in order to encourage the doctors of academic and non-academic medical cadres of the medical institutions running in the state.
