Rajasthan Film Festival: Jaipur is once again going to be the center of cinema lovers. The 13th edition of Rajasthan Film Festival (RFF) will be organized on 20 September at Deep Smriti Auditorium in Mansarovar. This time a confluence of glamour and art will be seen in the event.

Special hosting trio

The festival will be hosted by Bollywood's well-known actor Chunky Pandey, popular actor from Rajasthan Sumit Vyas and Jai Ho fame actress Daisy Shah. Festival founder Sanjana Sharma said that this time the hosting combination is being presented in a new style. Chunky Pandey will make the stage memorable with his humor, Sumit Vyas with his natural acting and Daisy Shah with her style. It is worth noting that last year this festival was hosted by actor Arbaaz Khan.

National platform for regional cinema

The biggest feature of RFF is that it gives an opportunity to regional films to get national recognition. This time also films of different languages ​​from across the country have got a place in the nomination. 8 Rajasthani films will be in competition along with 14 films from 9 states. Eminent personalities present in the jury will select the winners in various categories.

Veterans will be honored

This time veteran actor Raza Murad will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award and musician Dilip Sen will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement in Music Award.

Raza Murad's career has spanned more than five decades and he has left his strong mark in more than 250 films.

Dilip Sen got his first break from the film Surma Bhopali and together with Sameer Sen, he gave more than 1800 songs to the industry.

Colorful performances

To make the award night more special, actress Charu Asopa, choreographer Ajit Singh Tanwar, pop singer Komal Kora, folk singer Moti Khan, model Swati Jangid and South actress Meenakshi Goswami will set the stage on fire with their performances.

RFF Social Spotlight

RFF Social Spotlight will be organized on the first day of the festival, i.e. on September 19. It will be hosted by Charu Asopa and Bollywood actress Bhagyashree will be present as the chief guest. Digital creators, influencers and artists will be honored in this program. Also, inter school/college dance competition will be organized.

Objective and contribution

Programming head Anil Jain said that this initiative is of Kanchan Cassettes and Series (K-Series), which started in 2013. Its main objective is to get Rajasthani cinema recognized at the national level and encourage regional artists.

Founder Sanjana Sharma says that Rajasthan Film Festival is not just an award ceremony, but a cultural festival that gives the message of unity in diversity through Indian cinema. It not only preserves art but also brings alive the soul and traditions of India through cinema.
