Claim of Fulfilling 78 Percent Promises

In a detailed address regarding the government's performance, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma claimed that his administration has successfully fulfilled 78 percent of the promises made to the public within the last two and a half years. He highlighted that the public has shown immense confidence in the 'Urban Development Manifesto' presented by the government for local bodies, while this manifesto, he explained, is strategically focused on public welfare, overall development, and the upliftment of the underprivileged sections of society. The Chief Minister assured that the promises made in the manifesto to various segments, including the youth, women, the general public, and senior citizens, will be fulfilled by the government without fail.

Confidence in Upcoming Panchayat Elections

Buoyed by the success in the municipal polls, the Chief Minister expressed strong confidence regarding the future electoral landscape. He predicted an even larger victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party in the upcoming Panchayat elections. He reiterated that the momentum of development and the trust of the people would lead the party to a historic performance in the rural local body polls as well.

Advocacy for One State One Election

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma also touched upon the BJP's commitment to the concept of 'One State, One Election'. He criticized the previous Congress administration, pointing out that during their tenure, local body and panchayat elections were conducted intermittently over a period of two years. He asserted that the people of Rajasthan have now accepted the concept of synchronized elections. He argued that the public understands that holding elections simultaneously, rather than repeatedly, will pave a smoother path for development and prevent the wastage of government funds that occurs during frequent election cycles. The Chief Minister concluded that the results of the municipal elections serve as a clear indication of public support for this streamlined electoral approach.
