AAP MP Sanjay Singh: Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh has been arrested by ED in the Delhi liquor scam case. Since his arrest, Aam Aadmi Party leaders and workers are angry and are making statements against the Central Government. Meanwhile, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has reached Sanjay Singh's house with his wife Sunita Kejriwal. CM has met Sanjay's parents and wife and his picture has also surfaced.

What did Arvind Kejriwal say on Sanjay's arrest?

On Sanjay's arrest, Arvind Kejriwal tweeted and said, 'Sanjay Singh's arrest is absolutely illegal. This shows the nervousness of PM Modi. They will arrest many more opposition leaders till the elections. Earlier, Kejriwal termed the ED raid at Singh's residence as the BJP's 'last desperate attempt' and said that the ruling party feared defeat in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The national convenor of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said that there will be many such raids but there is nothing to fear. Kejriwal claimed that thousands of raids have been conducted against him, but till date not a single penny has been recovered.

He also said that nothing would be found from Singh's house also. He said, “BJP is nervous. He feels that he will have to face a huge defeat in the general elections of 2024. These are the last desperate efforts of a losing party. Yesterday it happened with many journalists, now it is happening with Sanjay Singh, as the elections approach, it will happen with many people.

The Chief Minister said that as the elections approach, such raids will increase further. ED, CBI, Income Tax and Police will all become active as the elections approach. More such raids will be conducted. But there is no need to be afraid.
