Yogi Adityanath: Opposition leaders have started protesting across the country for mimicking Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar in the Parliament House complex. From PM Modi to President Draupadi Murmu and many other leaders have expressed disappointment in this matter. Trinamool MP Kalyan Banerjee, who did the mimicry, and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, who made his video, are everyone's target. Now Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also made a big attack on the opposition leaders.

This reflects the bad habits of the opposition – CM Yogi

Furious at the opposition, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath wrote - "The unparliamentary, indecent and inexcusable conduct of the opposition towards the Honorable Vice President and the Honorable Chairman of the Rajya Sabha Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar in the Parliament premises is not only undemocratic but also reflects their bad values." "This act, full of arrogance and hatred towards persons holding constitutional posts, is extremely shameful. I strongly condemn this act which insults parliamentary dignity."

Rahul and Kalyan Banerjee gave clarification

After being targeted in the Vice President's mimicry case, Rahul Gandhi and Kalyan Banerjee have issued a clarification. Kalyan Banerjee said that I never intended to hurt anyone. Dhankar sir is much senior to me, I don't know why he has taken this upon himself. My question is, if he has taken it upon himself, does he behave like this in the Rajya Sabha? At the same time, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said that the MP was sitting there, I shot his video. My video is on my phone. The media is showing it, no one said anything. Our 150 MPs have been thrown out (from the House) but there is no discussion on it in the media.

PM Modi and President also gave statements

On the insult of Vice President Dhankhar, President Draupadi Murmu wrote on social media platform "Expression must be within the parameters of dignity and decorum. This has been a parliamentary tradition of which we are proud and the people of India expect them to uphold it." At the same time, PM Modi called Vice President Dhankhar and said that he too has been suffering this kind of insult for the last 20 years, but kept performing his duty. PM Modi said that the behavior of the opposition is unfortunate.
