CM Yogi: Insult To National Anthem Unacceptable, Tricolour Is India's Pride

The capital city of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, witnessed a grand display of patriotism as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath led a massive Tiranga Padayatra, while this event was organized as part of the nationwide celebrations leading up to India's Independence Day. During the march, the Chief Minister emphasized that the Tricolour is the symbol of the nation's pride, honor, and glory. He issued a stern warning, stating that any form of insult towards the National Anthem or the National Song wouldn't be tolerated under any circumstances. The atmosphere in Lucknow was filled with patriotic fervor as slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai resonated throughout the route.

Prominent Leaders and Massive Public Participation

The Tiranga Yatra saw the participation of several high-ranking officials and political figures. Alongside Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the BJP State President Pankaj Chaudhary and Organization General Secretary Dharampal Singh were present. The march also included Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, along with other senior party leaders. A vast number of BJP workers, school students, youth, and women joined the procession, making it a significant public event. The Chief Minister noted that approximately 25,000 to 30,000 young individuals participated in this yatra in the state capital, showcasing the immense energy and capability of the youth to face any challenge before the nation.

Route of the Tiranga Padayatra and Tributes to Martyrs

The Tiranga Padayatra commenced from the Chief Minister's residence at 5, Kalidas Marg. The procession moved through key locations in the city, including the Civil Hospital and Atal Chowk, before finally reaching the front of the Vidhan Bhavan. The timing of the yatra was particularly significant as August 9 also marks the Kakori Train Action Day. To honor the memory of the freedom fighters, the yatra was linked to the spirit of the independence movement, while following the conclusion of the march, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Kakori Martyr Memorial to pay his heartfelt tributes to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country's freedom.

Criticism of Congress and Praise for PM Modi

Addressing the gathering, CM Yogi Adityanath took a sharp aim at the Congress party, while he stated that during the Congress regime, citizens had to struggle and even approach the courts just to hoist the Tricolour at their homes. In contrast, he credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving 140 crore Indians the freedom and right to hoist the national flag at their residences. He mentioned that the Flag Code was specifically amended to facilitate the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' mantra, allowing every citizen to display the flag with pride. The CM questioned why it took 75 years to show proper respect to national symbols, suggesting that for previous administrations, power was the priority, whereas PM Modi operates with the principle of 'Nation First'.

Upcoming BJP Campaign Schedule

The Chief Minister announced that the BJP's 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign would run from August 9 to August 15. He detailed the upcoming schedule, stating that on August 10, 11, and 12, Tiranga Yatras will be organized at the divisional levels across the state. On August 13, these marches will be held at district headquarters and other prominent locations. Plus, August 14 will be observed as Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, which will include silent processions and seminars. From August 13 to August 15, a special public awareness campaign will be conducted to encourage the hoisting of the Tricolour at all homes, business establishments, and offices. The CM concluded by stating that the entire country is echoing with the sound of Vande Mataram and that the youth must prepare themselves for future challenges alongside their traditional education.
