CNG Price Hike / CNG rates hiked again today, second hike in a week, check latest price

CNG Price Hike: Today, on Saturday 21 May, the prices of CNG were increased again. Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has today increased the price of CNG by Rs 2 per kg in Delhi. Now the rate of CNG in Delhi has reached Rs 75.61 per kg. In Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, the CNG price has increased to Rs 78.17 per kg, while in Gurugram it has reached Rs 83.94 per kg.

This is the second consecutive increase in CNG prices in the last 6 days. Earlier on May 15, the price of CNG was increased by Rs. Today on Saturday, the rates of petrol and diesel are stable but the prices of CNG have increased.

CNG prices may increase further

People associated with this field say that the prices of CNG may increase further. India has been buying gas from Qatar, Muscat and Arab countries for the past several years. Till now he used to get gas at the rate of $ 20 per cylinder. Due to the crisis arising after the Russo-Ukraine war, the price of gas in European countries has increased to around $ 40. Now India is also getting gas at the same price. In such a situation, the cost burden has also increased on the companies. If the prices do not come down soon, then the price of CNG in the country will go up to Rs.80.
