CNG Price In Delhi: Today has started with good news for the people living in Delhi-NCR. The Election Commission has reduced the prices of CNG just before the announcement of Lok Sabha elections in the country. Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), a gas supplying company in Delhi-NCR areas, has reduced the prices of CNG. Its price has been reduced by Rs 2.5 per kg.

After this cut, the price of CNG in Delhi has now become Rs 74.09. Whereas in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad its price will be Rs 78.70 per kg. The new prices were announced late at night on the 6th, whereas they will be implemented today i.e. from 6 am on the 7th.

Cost reduction is the main reason

The main reason for the softening of CNG prices is the decline in its production cost. Some time ago, Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL), the gas supplying company in Mumbai, has also reduced the price of CNG by Rs 2.5 per kg. After this, the price of CNG there has come down to Rs 73.50 per kg. These new prices have been implemented in Mumbai from March 5.

Before IGL reduced the price of CNG, there was a lot of confusion in its price in Delhi areas. But now the situation is better than before. The price of one kilogram of gas in Delhi at that time was Rs 76.59. Whereas in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad this price was Rs 81.20 per kg.
