CNG Price Today: The price of Compressed Natural Gas i.e. CNG has been reduced by Rs 2.5 per kg by the government company Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL). The new rate has been set by the company at Rs 73.50 per kg. The new CNG prices from the company will be implemented from 12 midnight tonight.

Reason for price cut

According to the information given by the company, the reason for reduction in CNG prices is the reduction in costs, due to which the company has announced to reduce the prices. On behalf of the company, it was said that the company is continuously working to promote CNG. The company immediately passes on the benefit of any reduction in the cost of gas to its customers. Due to reduction in the prices of CNG, its consumption can be increased in the transportation sector. This will also help a lot in reducing pollution.

Also, the company said that after the implementation of the new prices of CNG, Mumbai consumers will find CNG 53 percent cheaper than petrol and 22 percent cheaper than diesel at the current price.

In which cities will prices reduce?

In all the cities where MGL has its network. This deduction will be applicable there. CNG stations are operated by Delhi NGR IGL. At the same time, CNG stations have been operated by MGL in Mumbai and its surrounding areas. Let us tell you, there has been no change in the price of CNG in the country's capital Delhi. The price of CNG in Delhi remains at Rs 76.59 per kg.
