Punjab Politics: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) accused Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann of giving "political asylum" to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal and shielding him amid Enforcement Directorate summons. Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal has been called for questioning by the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday. The Chief Minister arrived at a Vipassana center in Hoshiarpur district on Wednesday evening for a 10-day stay.

Kejriwal is doing Vipassana in Punjab

The Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday had questioned the timing of issuing the summons, saying party lawyers were studying the notice and "legally appropriate" steps would be taken. The party had said that Kejriwal's Vipassana session was "pre-planned" and the information was public.
