New Delhi : The alarming pace of corona infection continues in the capital Delhi. With the death of 6 corona infected patients in Delhi on Monday, more than 1000 new patients have been found. Now with the positivity rate increasing to above 10 percent, the active cases have also increased to more than 5000. With this, now the number of containment zones has increased to 265.According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department of Delhi Government on Monday, in the last 24 hours where 1,060 new patients of Corona have been found, today 6 patients also died due to infection. With this, the positivity rate has also increased to 10.09 percent. Today 1221 patients in Delhi have returned to their homes after getting corona free. Now the active cases of corona virus infection have increased to 5375 in the capital.The Health Department said that so far the total number of infected in Delhi has gone up to 19,23,149. At the same time, till now a total of 18,91,536 patients have become corona free after beating this epidemic. With this, the death toll has reached 26,238 so far.According to the Delhi Health Department, a total of 10,506 tests were conducted in Delhi on Sunday. Out of these, 9176 RTPR/ CBNAAT/ TrueNat tests and 1330 rapid antigen tests were done. A total of 38,887,014 tests have been conducted in Delhi so far and 20,46,684 tests have been done per 10 lakh people.Significantly, on January 24 this year, the rate of infection was recorded at 11.8 percent. On Sunday, 1,530 cases of infection were reported in Delhi and three patients died due to the epidemic.
