This was seen in the city after two years. Due to Corona, people were not able to enjoy Makar Sankranti for two years. This time the people of Chardivari did more fireworks on Makar Sankranti than Diwali. To see which, along with Rajasthan, tourists from all over the country reached Jaipur.

Due to Makar Sankranti being on Saturday this time, people were seen in a holiday mood for two days. That's why enjoyed the festival very much. Makar Sankranti will be celebrated on Sunday as well.

Crowd of devotees gathered in Govind Dev Ji temple

On Makar Sankranti, the people of Jaipur pay obeisance to the deity Govind Devji and feed green fodder to the cows in the cowshed of the temple. Here, on entering from the Sirhadyori Gate, birds are also fed at the outer square and Jaleb Chowk. They also donate fruits and green fodder to the monkeys and cows they meet on the way from Jaleb Chowk to the temple.

The festival of Makar Sankranti was celebrated in Govind Devji temple on Sunday. In which Thakurji was anointed with Panchamrit after Mangala Jhanki and Thakurji was dressed in a new pink colored jama dress. Along with this, his sesame laddoos and phini were offered as bhog. Devotees will see the tableau of Thakurji's kites on January 15 as well. Thakurji has a golden kite in his hand and Radha Rani has a silver pulley in her hand. The spinning wheel was in the hands of the friends.

A kite festival was organized on the sails of Jalmahal, in which folk artists entertained the people fiercely. Many people flew kites with the help of songs and music.
