Due to Corona in Andhra Pradesh, the Education Department has extended the summer vacation till June 30. The government has decided that schools in Andhra Pradesh will remain closed for the time being. The state government has taken this decision to stop the spread of corona virus. The order has been implemented for students and teachers from first to ninth in all schools across the state.

At the same time, online classes of all schools in the state can start from June 12. The official announcement of online classes is yet to be made by the state government. The Education Department of Andhra Pradesh has asked the headmasters to provide assistance to the Class X students in their studies.

They will also have to follow the instructions issued for other projects such as mid-day meal and school infra etc. In addition, schools have been requested to prepare educational calendars. Online classes and other educational activities will be started through various mediums such as WhatsApp, radio, television, YouTube, etc.

At the same time, the Haryana government has extended summer vacation in all the schools of the state till June 15 in view of the threat of continued corona epidemic. Earlier the schools were closed till May 31 and some news websites had also reported that the state schools were to open from June 01. Refuting all such reports, the State Education Department has issued an order and extended the holidays in schools till June 15.

From Tuesday 01 June, the school will open as a roster for teachers and school staff. 50% of the teachers and school staff will be present in the school according to the roster, but the school will remain closed for the students. It will be compulsory for teachers to be called to follow the instructions laid down by the State Government. The school opening hours will be from 09 am to 12 noon.
