ED Raid: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) team has raided the house of state Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara this morning regarding the paper leak case in Rajasthan. Along with this, ED has also summoned Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's son Vaibhav Gehlot for questioning in the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) case. ED is currently interrogating Dotasara and his relatives. The ED team has also reached Dotasara's private residence in Sikar along with the government residence in Civil Lines, Jaipur. According to sources, ED raids are going on at 3 places in Jaipur and 2 places in Sikar. After the raids, Dotasara posted on social media and said – 'Satyamev Jayate'. At the same time, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has also called a press conference at 12.30 pm regarding the ED raid.

ED also reached the house of Dotasara's relatives

The ED team has also reached the house of Dotasara and his relatives. Today, for the first time, ED has raided Dotasara's house regarding the paper leak. Central Security Force officers are also present along with the ED teams from Delhi and Jaipur. Dotasara is also the Congress candidate from Laxmangarh assembly seat in Sikar district.

According to sources, Govind Singh Dotasara is present at his Sikar residence. ED officials reached his house at around 9.30. First he was interrogated while sitting on the porch, after which he was taken to the office built in the house for questioning.

Earlier raids were conducted on people close to Dotasara

In the paper leak case, ED had earlier raided those close to Dotasara. ED raids were conducted on Kalam Coaching Center in Sikar and many other places in August-September. At that time Dotasara had made allegations of harassing his close ones unnecessarily.

ED also raids the premises of Congress candidate Omprakash Hoodla

ED has also raided the premises of independent MLA from Mahwa and Congress candidate Omprakash Hoodla. ED teams have reached Hudla's hideouts at many places including Dausa, Jaipur. At around 10 am on Thursday morning, the ED team in three vehicles reached Ramkuti, the residence of MLA Hudla on Mandawar Road and started the raid. ED searched the documents in the office built inside Hudla's residence.

At the same time, the ED team also reached MLA's hotel Hudla Park in Mistry Market on Bharatpur Road in Mahwa. At that time the MLA was present in the hotel itself. The ED team, which arrived in two vehicles, is interrogating Hudla and is also busy sifting through the documents.

MLA's brother was arrested with dummy candidate

In July 2022, the name of Hariom Meena, brother of independent MLA Omprakash Hoodla, had surfaced in the paper leak case. Omprakash Hoodla's younger brother Hariam Meena and the dummy candidate were arrested from outside an exam center in Shivdaspura, Jaipur. The MLA's brother had taken money and made a dummy candidate appear in the SSC-MTS exam. Accused Hariom Meena is currently out on bail.

ED has also raided the houses of Hudla's associate Rajendra Gupta, Subhash Balaheri, CA Rajendra Gupta and business associate Nidhi Sharma. According to sources, Nidhi Sharma's brothers Deepak and Lalit are also under investigation.

Chief Minister Gehlot said - BJP does not want people to get the benefit of guarantee.

After the raid on Dotasara's house and ED's summons to his son Vaibhav Gehlot, the Chief Minister attacked the BJP and said that I have been saying that the ED's raids are conducted in Rajasthan because the BJP does not want the women in Rajasthan. Farmers and the poor can get the benefit of the guarantees being given by Congress.

ED has taken action against many accused including RPAAC member

In the paper leak case, ED has taken action against many people including Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) member Babulal Katara. The police had first arrested the accused related to the paper leak, after which the ED took up the case and took action.

Kirodilal Meena and BJP had made allegations

BJP's Rajya Sabha MP Kirodilal Meena had alleged the involvement of ministers and MLAs in the paper leak case. BJP leaders had also made allegations against Congress State President Govind Singh Dotasara. Dotasara has been the Education Minister till November 2021, due to which the opposition has been accusing him.

Dotasara had said- We are waiting for ED, what will ED do?

Govind Singh Dotasra has been attacking the Center and BJP from the beginning regarding the action of ED and Income Tax against the leaders. Dotasara had given statements many times that we are waiting for when ED and Income Tax comes. He who has done something wrong is afraid of ED and Income Tax, we are just waiting for when ED will come? What will ED do?

Gehlot targeted BJP

He said that from this you can now understand what I have been saying that ED's Red Rose in Rajasthan is because BJP does not want that the guarantees given by Congress to the women, farmers and poor in Rajasthan. Can get benefits.

Congress's reaction on ED action

Congress state spokesperson RC Choudhary attacked BJP over ED action at the houses of Congress leaders. Chaudhary said that BJP is taking action through ED, CBI against the leaders who raise their voice against the Modi government. The result of that is that today the house of the state president of Rajasthan Congress is being raided. Dotasara has always been vocal against RSS and BJP leaders.
