A total of 8 people have been arrested so far by Delhi Police in connection with the protest outside Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence yesterday. Police is looking for some more people. Six teams of police are engaged in the raid.

On the other hand, the Aam Aadmi Party has moved the Delhi High Court in the matter. MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court against the vandalism outside the residence of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. The plea has sought constitution of a special investigation team to conduct an independent criminal investigation into the incident.

Let us tell you that the workers of Bhajna Yuva Morcha demonstrated outside Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's house on Wednesday morning in connection with the statement given in the Delhi Assembly regarding the film Kashmir Files. Amidst the dharna and sloganeering, the workers suddenly broke the barricading and reached the boom barrier. It is alleged that these people broke the boom barrier.

Protesters broke CCTV cameras

Later, the CCTV cameras installed at the gate of CM's house were broken. Some people also threw saffron colored paint on the gate of CM residence. Somehow the police chased the workers from there. Later, around 70 people were taken into custody. All of them were released after completing the formalities.

Police registered a case against the protesting people

When the police were accused of deliberately relaxing BJP workers, the police registered a case of obstruction in official work, assault in the line of duty, violation of government order and damage to public property. At present, the police are trying to identify them on the basis of CCTV and video footage.

BJP wants CM's assassination: Sisodia

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was attacking the BJP after the uproar by young BJP workers at the Chief Minister's residence in Delhi's Civil Lines. AAP workers, including the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, the Chief Minister of Punjab, launched a scathing attack on the BJP and Delhi Police. The Deputy Chief Minister alleges that the BJP is conspiring to get Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal killed. Sisodia even termed the protesters as goons of BJP. At the same time, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann says that today BJP is only afraid of AAP and Arvind Kejriwal.
