Now the electricity department will also take care of the convenience of the consumers. For this the department has launched Urja Mitra App. With this app, consumers will get information about why the electricity is cut, for how long the electricity is cut or when the electricity will come. Even if the electricity bill is lost, the consumer will get another bill from this app.

Till now the consumers did not get the information from the department when there was a fault at the power house. Due to this people had to face a lot of trouble. Here the government is running a revamp scheme for uninterrupted power supply. Under this, the obstacles in the power supply are being removed. Now in such a situation, if there is an obstacle at the power house, the information about the power outage will be received immediately from the Urja Mitra app.

Which feeder will be closed for how long and after how much power will be supplied, the complete details will be available to the consumers. Officers or linemen will not have to call again and again. For this facility, the number of the consumer should be recorded in the records of the electricity department. JE and staff will also keep updating the information of reduction in this app every half an hour.

Mobile number will be registered: For the convenience of the Urja Mitra app, consumers will go to the Play Store and download it in the mobile. After this, the mobile number entered in the electricity department will have to be registered in it. After registering, state name, district name, power feeder, distribution transformer, location and consumer electricity account number and mobile number in your electricity bill will have to be submitted. Once this process is completed, the app will start working. Said official: Urja Mitra App is for the convenience of the consumers. With this, along with power coming and going, many other types of departmental information will be available. Consumers are being encouraged for this.-Chandresh Upadhyay, Executive Engineer, Electricity Distribution Division II
