Uttar Pradesh / Express Train Will stop only when station earnings will be more than 15 thousand

New Delhi : Now express trains will get stoppage at only those stations whose ticket income will be more than 15 thousand per day. Express trains will not stop at stations earning less than Rs 15,000. Till now, there was a facility of temporary stoppage on income of five thousand. Railway Board Deputy Director Coaching Vivek Kumar Singha has issued an order in this regard on August 29.

Actually, according to experts, about 25 thousand rupees are spent on stopping trains at a station, which includes electricity, diesel, employees salary, cleanliness, passenger convenience etc. The railway administration is going to end stoppage from stations where less than twenty passengers board. There are more than 20 such stations in NE Railway where the number of passengers is very less. However, till the issuance of the order, the stations where the trains have stoppage will continue as it is.

New stoppage of these express trains

Nautanwa-Durg Express has been given stoppage at Laxmipur station and Gorakhpur-Mailani Express at Brijmanganj station. Similarly, Muzaffarpur-Banaras Bapudham Express has been stopped at Siswa Bazar station. The income from the passenger at all these stations is more than Rs 15,000.
