Congress Yatra: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is currently carrying out Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra in the north-eastern states. However, Rahul Gandhi is at loggerheads with the administration in Assam. Barricades were put up on the highway to prevent Congress leaders and supporters from entering the main roads of Guwahati but Congress workers broke the barricade and clashed with the police. Now in this case, Assam Police has taken suo motu cognizance and registered an FIR against former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and other party leaders for their involvement in violence.

CM Himanta gave information about the sections

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has tweeted that in the context of uncontrolled acts of violence, instigation, damage to public property and attacks on police personnel by Congress members, Rahul Gandhi, K.C.
