Ahead of the Prime Minister's address, DCGI approved the emergency use of Covaxin for children's vaccine.


The Prime Minister asked not to be intimidated by the new variant of Corona. He said that do not be afraid of new infection, but follow the prevention and covid rules. Apart from this, the PM gave information about health infrastructure and vaccination.


The Prime Minister said - we are in the last week of this year. 2022 is just about to arrive. You are all busy preparing to welcome it, but with enthusiasm and enthusiasm, this is also the time to be alert. Today, the crisis has increased in many countries due to the new variant Omicron of Corona. This crisis has increased in India too. Be careful, be alert, don't panic. Use a mask, keep washing your hands once in a while. Now that the virus is mutating, our innovation capacity has also increased. Today we have 18 lakh isolation beds.


There are 1 lakh 40 thousand ICU beds. There are 90 thousand special beds for children, if we combine everything. More than 3000 PSA oxygen plants are functioning. 4 lakh oxygen cylinders have been given. India has crossed the difficult target of 141 crore vaccine doses. At least 90% of the adult population has been given a single dose of the vaccine. The people of India will be proud that we did this in the midst of all adversity.
