The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has announced the result date for Gujarat Board Class 10th Exams 2019, as per which, the SSC result will be declared on Tuesday, 21st May 2019 at 8am. GSEB has released a notice confirming the date and timing of the Gujarat 10th Result 2019 on its official website – gseb.org.
GSEB had organized the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examinations 2019 from 7th to 19th March 2019 across the state of Gujarat. Approximately 7.5 lac students are estimated to have appeared for the exams this year.
In 2018, the overall pass percentage had slightly dwindled to 67.50%, as compared to 68.24% in 2017. Girls had recorded better result with 72.69% pass percentage, while boys trailed behind at 63.73%.
Savani Hil Ishwarbhai was declared the state topper with 594/600 marks i.e. 99%. Ladani Krishi Himanshukumar bagged the second position with 589/600 marks or 98.16%, followed by Hingrajiya Priyalkumar Jitubhai at third position scoring 586/600 marks i.e. 97.66%.
This year, GSEB had declared the HSE +2 Science Result 2019 on 9th May 2019 at 8am along with the result of GUJCET 2019. A total of 1,23,000 students had appeared for the GSEB HSC Science Exams 2019, out of which 89,060 were declared pass. The overall pass percentage for Group A, B, AB taken together was recorded at 71.90%.
