Government Schemes in Women: In Himachal Pradesh, the government led by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has announced a big gift for the women of his state. He has announced that women of Himachal Pradesh will be given Rs 1500 every month. Women aged between 18 to 80 years will be included in this. The Chief Minister has named this scheme Indira Gandhi Pyari Brahmin Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojana.

Similarly, Delhi government has announced to give one thousand rupees per month to women. The governments of Delhi and Himachal Pradesh are not the first. Madhya Pradesh: Ladli Behna Yojana

In Madhya Pradesh, under Laadli Brahmin Yojana, one thousand rupees are transferred to the account of every woman every month. This scheme was started on March 5, 2023, so that women can buy milk, fruits and vegetables etc. for themselves and their children or can spend this amount on any other work as per their need.

Only women who are permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh can apply for this scheme. The age of the woman applying should not be less than 21 and more than 60 years. No woman or girl studying in any school or college is given the benefit of Ladli Brahmin Yojana. Apart from this, the woman receiving the benefit should not be an income tax payer. The annual income of his family should be less than Rs 2.5 lakh.

Delhi Government: Announced to give one thousand rupees per month

Delhi government has presented its budget on March 4. In this, the Arvind Kejriwal led Delhi government has announced that women above 18 years of age will be given one thousand rupees every month. Delhi Finance Minister Atishi Marlena, while presenting the budget, announced a monthly honor fund for women. According to the voter list of Delhi, there are a total of 67 lakh women in the state, for whom a total provision of Rs 2000 crore has been made in the budget.

However, women working in government jobs and receiving government pension as well as women paying taxes will not get the benefit of this scheme. In such a situation, 45 to 50 lakh women of Delhi can get its benefit.

Chhattisgarh: Financial assistance of Rs 1,000 from Mahtari Vandana Yojana

Such a scheme is already running in Chhattisgarh for women empowerment. The state government has named this scheme as Mahtari Vandana Yojana. Under this, financial assistance of one thousand rupees is given every month to the women of the state.

Tamil Nadu: Debit card along with help of Rs 1000

In Tamil Nadu, the government led by Chief Minister MK Stalin has also started a scheme for women, so that they can be provided economic benefits. Its name is Kalaignar Magalir Urimaai Thogai Thittam. Under this scheme, one thousand rupees are being sent directly to the accounts of the women of the state every month. Along with this, Tamil Nadu government has also given debit cards to women.

Under this scheme for women in this state, it is claimed that benefits have been provided to more than one crore women so far. Similarly, in Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party had also announced before the elections that if the government is formed, women will be given financial assistance of one thousand rupees.

Widow pension: Help from Rs 600 to Rs 2500

Widow women are also given financial assistance in the form of pension in all the states across the country. Under this scheme, the amount is sent directly to the account of women whose husband dies and there is no one to earn in the family.

This scheme has been started with the aim of providing financial assistance to widow women. The amount of assistance for this is different in different states. In Haryana, women aged 18 years and above are given Rs 1800 every month under this scheme. Similarly, in Uttar Pradesh, after the death of her husband, an amount of Rs 500 is sent to the account of a destitute woman every month.

In Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, widow women are given Rs 600. However, in Maharashtra, if a woman has more than one child, she is given nine hundred rupees every month. In Delhi, there is a provision of pension of two and a half thousand rupees every month for widows and divorced women. Its benefit is available only to those women whose family's total annual income is less than one lakh rupees.
