In Kalyanpuri area, a young man was stabbed to death in front of his wife in Saresham beach market on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Sachin alias Baba (25). To save the husband, Sachin's wife kept pleading for help from the people, but people remained spectator. The accused fled from the spot after the incident. Sachin's wife Khushi took the husband in a private vehicle to the nearest LBS hospital, where he was declared brought dead.

It is believed that the incident took place in a gang war. Sachin had several criminal cases registered against him. He was also associated with a gang. However, the police officials are denying the talk of gang war. Late in the evening, the police have taken two suspects into custody. Police is probing the matter by interrogating them. A case of murder has been registered at Kalyanpuri police station.

Went shopping for wedding anniversary

According to the police, Sachin lived with his family in a five-block, Trilokpuri area. Sachin's wedding anniversary was near. In the same connection, on Wednesday evening, he had come to Trilokpuri 6-block along with his wife for shopping.

Meanwhile, two miscreants surrounded Sachin. First the accused attacked him with a brick. Later he took out a knife and started attacking him. Khushi tried hard to save the wife. The accused inflicted more than a dozen knives on Sachin.

Many cases were registered against Sachin

According to police sources, many cases were registered against Sachin. He was also associated with a gang. In April last year, Sachin and his friend Abhimanyu were attacked by some miscreants. Abhimanyu was killed in the attack while Sachin was badly injured. Sachin was the only witness in that case. The opposing gang was threatening Sachin to stay late from the case. It is believed that this is the reason why he was killed. Police is investigating the matter by interrogating the arrested accused.
